Linkin Park explodes at the top of the charts this week with their first
single, "What I've Done," from their long awaited third studio album,
"Minutes to Midnight." Breaking an all time record with six consecutive #1s
in a row, Linkin Park debuted at #1 at Alternative and #3 on Active charts.
In addition to its radio impact, the song has already sold over 100,000
downloads on iTunes. The video for "What I've Done," directed by band
member / DJ Joseph Hahn, premiered on MTV and AOL last week. "Minutes to
Midnight," co-produced by Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin is due out on May 15
on Machine Shop/Warner Bros.
Linkin Park is Chester Bennington (vocals), Rob Bourdon (drums), Brad

Butler Trio has announced details of their upcoming tour. The schedule
begins April 28th at the House of Blues in New Orleans, with dates
continuing through July 1, where the tour ends at Solarfest in Taos, New
Mexico (see attached itinerary). The trek also includes a June 17th
performance at the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, TN.
Throughout the tour, the JBT is partnering with CLIF Bar, a natural food
company, and their GreenNotes campaign to promote environmental awareness
-- blazing a trail of positive action by taking such environmentally
conscious steps as using biodiesel to fuel their tour buses; offsetting the
tour's CO2 emissions through the purchase of clean, renewable wind energy
credits; using recycled paper and soy-based inks for printed materials;

would like to announce that it has signed guitar virtuoso and Grand Ole
Opry star Roy Clark as the latest artist for its upcoming Christmas
compilation album. As previously announced, the album will be distributed
to major retail outlets throughout the U.S. and will be broadcast on 2,000
radio stations including Billboard channels. The signing of Clark adds
another accomplished artist to a growing list of performers -- both new and
established -- on the Nashville Records label.

Kelly Willis, named by NPR as "alternative
country's golden goddess," returns after five years with the
much-anticipated "Translated From Love." The album is the follow-up to the
acclaimed "Easy" (2002), of which Rolling Stone said, "Kelly Willis' sweet,
burnished voice practically spells heartache... Willis drapes her yearning
voice over the tough but funny lyrics..." Rykodisc will release the new
album on June 26.
Produced by long-time collaborator Chuck Prophet, "Translated From Love" is

has signed a label deal with Grammy-nominated producer Nitti for his label
Playmaker Music. Under the deal, Warner Bros. Records will market, promote,
and distribute new artists that Nitti, who was previously a staff producer
for Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings, signs to Playmaker Music.
An in-demand hip-hop producer who is known for a distinctive production
style that features a high-tempo, snap-like beat, Nitti has produced a
